It's the first game of the year, I'm sure LSU will shake off some rust in the coming weeks.
However they were very fortunate the ULM 3rd basemen missed that ground out right before the grand slam. I give ULM props for showing up and giving the tigers a hell of an opener.

These are the kind of posts you should have after game 5 or 6. After game 2, we still have no clue how some of our pitching staff will perform because they have NEVER performed on the college level.
No team is ever Omaha ready after game 2 of the season. The hitters need to get in their rhythm and the pitchers need to loosen up and settle in to the rotation.
The season is just over 2 days old...relax.
