Said it on AFR. Nothing official, just said it's what he may be hearing/picking up. Interesting, if true. I'm not against it, and it surely would't be a permanent move necessarily. I think we're missing a high velo, high leverage right-hander out of the pen anyway. Looks like it's Ulloa and Dutton (if you can call him high-veto) as the only high velo RH guys out of the pen that they trust right now. Moffett is off to a promising start, but not sure they trust him in big spots yet. And of course they trust Guidry, but he's not high velo.

May not be right, but I thought it was interesting, nonetheless.

Is it bad that I trust Hurd out of the bullpen more than I do as a starter?

Last time they played the classic Makhail Hilliard didn't even pitch and was ultimately the Friday night starter once conference play opened up. Jay tries out plenty of scenarios early on in the season.

Look I'm all for the posters on this board waiting for official announcements before jumping the gun, but so may posts got shite on this week by the same 5-10 posters for opinionating that moves should be made this week to get this staff set up for SEC play in a few weeks.

Either way, I'm on board for the Holman move to Friday. Don't necessarily think Hurd should be taken out of the weekend rotation, as he's got the stuff, but SEC Fridays are a different animal, and I don't think he's there yet

Definitely too early to say but I could see Anderson slipping into the Sunday role if there is an injury or lack of performance. Even if that doesn’t happen, it’s good to have guys like him and herring in the back pocket to make a start come tourney time

You could make an argument for Anderson as well.
