Not to worried. Going to have a good time.

humility has really improved their manners, the last time I went they were actually polite, they still don't know anything about tailgating, and that open container nonsense is something to watch out for because we're all so used to it

I never said jorts are acceptable.

I just meant that you'll see those types of people at every campus in the SEC.

I have been to Gainesville twice and will never, ever go back.

Last trip started downhill when their Gestapo cops made it a point to harass each and every LSU gear wearing person tailgating. Can't remember if you had to be on the grass to drink or on the concrete but if you were not on the right one, you got slapped with an open container violation.

The trip melted down into complete disaster when one of the guys in our group got popped trying to sneak a pint of the good stuff into the stadium.

As they were leading him away, we laughingly yelled "see you at the bar after the game" thinking they were just going to take his ticket and give him the boot.

Nope - they straight up arrested him and hauled him off to county lock up. Had to drive to BFE with $1500 bail to spring him.

frick that place!

I've only sat at the very top of the endzone.

You can probably find tix by the band.

You're not giving us the whole story. No one gets sent to jail for simply trying to bring booze into a game. There's GOT to be more to it than that.

there's not just one visitor section. they are spread literally to the four corners of the stadium.

Not really. The cops suck (don't walk around with open containers), so tailgating sucks unless you know someone with a set up. And if you're under 21 or don't have a really good ID you won't be able to go out. But it's a nice town and I could see myself going back sometime in the future. The drive sucks, though.

I bought tiks for this game and it turns out I cannot go. But the tickets are on rows 2 and 3 of section 36. I have no idea whether that is an obstructed view or not. I'm going to sell them on stub hub I guess.

Nope they will. My buddy got sent there for something similar. Usually just a summons in most places but they send you through the ringer.

I attended a game there a few years back and had a good time...seats were at the very top of an endzone (which I would expect), but the view wasn't that bad...

as the others say, be careful with open container...seems like there is some particular street that you can't cross with open container or you will be arrested...

we just went to some of the bars across from the stadium and hung out with lots of other tiger fans...

had a damn good time...we had a damn good time and would go back in a second...just handle yourself with class and you don't have much to worry about...

I was wondering if someone could help me out here.

so according to the ticket exchange section on tigerdroppings 44 B is the LSU section.

But looking at this picture I don't see many visitors seating here. I think to the right of that tunnel is 44 B. Is this right??? Is their band sitting in 44?

Will there be LSU fans in the section 44B?

I will be there

Friday will be the third Koon/arse Gator golf tournament at the U of Florida Golf course. My 18 year Gator buddies tailgate with me in Baton Rouge and us in Gainesville.
The Central Florida Alumni also have a big tailgate, the band performs a few songs before they enter the Stadium.

Visitor seats are on the east side --- upper levels have direct sun nearly the entire game for 2:30 PM kickoffs.

Student sections are low to the field -- good seats - but also in the sun.

I bought tickets on the street 2 years ago and specifically searched for West side SHADE seats -- sat amongst Gators, but had a good time --- just don't be and arse in someone else's house and you'll have a good time.

Negative rumors are overblown in my opinion -- just as negative rumors about visitors to LSU are overblown in my opinion.

I'll be there, but I always sit with friends in the Alumni section.
