pretty sure he wants to sit Hal, move Reid to third

I have defended hal but I just don't know if I can defend his bat being outweighed by his defense anymore

ETA: at the same time, this lineup is winning so I'm not sure I want to frick with it at this point

Reid to 3rd, Gio to DH, and Hughes on a bus to Kansas State.

You were the one who wrote, "Beloso isn’t hitting...can’t field. Put in someone else."

But that was last month, now Beloso is Lou Gehrig.

We’ve switched guys up throughout the season. No one took control of that spot from a batting standpoint. So, if you’re going to have a weak batter in there, it might as well be the better defensive player. Not, it’s not significantly higher. But it’s still higher. I can’t complain about leaving Hughes in if no one is clearly better than him.

Guess you didn’t keep up with baseball earlier in the season with Mathis at catcher

or you could still platoon guys since no one has really won the position and see if one starts playing better than the other

Garza batted from time to time as DH. As the season went along, they eventually gave him some innings at catcher. It wasn’t because if his wrist. It was his knee. He was recovering from a knee injury. They were simply easing him back in.

Well, if your numbers are correct, he had exactly 50 chances.
