Dud Manieri pee in the NCAA's cornflakes? LSU makes a great run in the SEC tournament, and yet lesser SEC teams get more favorable regional locations (and are still playing.)

Not only this, but JT Snow was struggling to talk about popcorn(he conned some woman into paying for it)and porches. It’s like they don’t even care.

Between us knocking out OSU last year and having a mediocre team this year it was not surprising we ended up in Corvallis. Even in a different regional this LSU wasn’t likely to get all the way to Omaha. The boys put up a good fight but just didn’t have it this year. Just let it go and look forward to a good year next season.

Yep, LSU has to know, don’t leave it up to the committee. Play every game, series to win, or you will be screwed with the brackets, it’s that simple.

LSU has all of the resources and has a history of receiving a lot of breaks when we are good. You can expect that when LSU is an average team, the committee will look to them as someone who can afford (financially, fan base traveling, and talent) to handle a tough regional or to miss the tourney a year. I think that does play a factor in why LSU traveled this year and why we missed the tourney in 11.

The real answer is we were one of the last several teams in so we were destined to go to a high national seed. They weren't sending us to an sec host so it was either Stanford or osu

E$PN was trying to protect the "Mike Martin's Last Chance" story line and thought we were too much of a threat for the Tallahassee Regional. Plus they wanted to give Oregon State a shot at revenge for last year, again, to attract eyeballs in that West Coast late night time slot. NC$$ doesn't give a shite about "bracket integrity," they just want the check.
