LSU football players have been smoking weed since the 60's and always will, they did it during the Mac years and they do it now. Why are some acting surprised at this.

i promise players at other schools also smoke weed. Or take adderall or legal herb or whatever the hell it is SW and TM got in trouble for. In fact there's no way they're the only two who smoke on the team. No effing way. They just got unlucky and got caught.

I don't care. They knew the rules and they got caught for breaking them. If they effing cared so much about the team then they effing wouldn't have done it.

Kids at other schools get kicked off of their teams as well. You can justify bad grades as well but to stay on the team, you have to maintain your grades. There are many fans that have jobs in which they get tested for drugs. They fail drug tests, they can lose their jobs.
These players only lost playing in a game.

Beause Nancy Reagan taught the parents of these kids to "just say no".

How stupid do YOU have to be before you realize how stupid this is. We just finished with JJ and crew now this. NO EXCUSE PERIOD.
stupid mot....... good god we look like shite in the light of a number 1 team in the country. Wheather you like it or not there is responsibility that goes with it. The sign of a class team is not showing.!!!!!!!!!!!
WAKE UP PEOPLE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !! And the reason i am screaming is because I am pissed.

I don't see other stars of other teams doing this in the middle of a championship run. Maybe the other schools just cover it up, who knows.

You must not be paying attention. Garcia at South Carolina; Pryor and at least 4 others at OSU have had serious rule violations. Florida has had its share of incidents. I would expect that we could find other situations if we look. We just tend not to pay quite as much attention when the problems don't involve our team.

I'm sure they knew that before they started, but they did it anyway. Very disappointing.

This moral equivalency defense is absolutely LAME. I don't care who else does this, it's totally selfish and stupid to deliberately do something you know violates team rules. These guys are college students and old enough to vote; that should suggest their ability to reason is sufficient to know right from wrong. They made a very bad choice for themselves, but the whole Tiger Nation can suffer the consequences. I just hope the rest of the team can rise to the occasion. Even more, I hope they are not nearly as important to team success as they apparently thought they were.
