Being 19 or 20 is not a free pass for this stupidity

We all did stupid things when we were at LSU but it was all in perspective of the consequences. Smoking weed is not a big deal when you are a regular college kid. But LSUs football players are by no means regular college kids. They have a lot more at stake than most of us did. That is somewhat of a burden but is offset by their celebrity status and other 'perks' the rest of us don't/didn't get.
This is possibly a career limiting move for these kids. They should have known better. Being young is not an excuse in this case.

I mean it is though. They're getting punished. They have to miss at least one game, maybe more although i pray to god not, and their names are getting dragged through the mud. They don't need random arse fans shitting on them too. They know they messed up

And they'll be suspended for their mistake so it would be nice if we didn't have people acting like they just knocked off a bank.

TC's more popular than Troy Landry.

I wish people would stop giving them a free pass by complaining about the testing process, discussing if weed is even a big deal and if LSU should give them a second test. The rules are the rules and they were broken.

Who are you their parent? "It's okay for me to smoke weed but if you do you will go to hell." frick off with that shite. Hypocrisy is just as bad as idiocy.

I will keep complaining about the testing process bc i care more about winning a national championship than i do our players smoking weed. If you honestly care more about making sure they all follow the law then more power to you

did you know that 14yr olds can be tried as an adult for murder? and, be convicted?
but,
did you also know that the frontal lobe continues to grow until the age of 21?
which means, judges and coaches get to make the decisions,
not a pimply faced looser.

A lot of people are arguing if this is justified. Read the threads.

Ok. What about how it puts the university in a bad light, Again? Nobody is the moral police but come on you really can't be that dense.

I agree they should conduct themselves on a different level. They are counted upon as leaders of this team, and they have let their team down severely, as well as the fanbase, and coaching staff. Anyone that just blows this off as some college kid just being a college kid is crazy. I don't think they need to be dragged through the mud, but I'm very disappointed that they let everyone down in the middle of this championship run. I am even more shocked at SW. Not that shocked with TM, for some reason.
I don't see other stars of other teams doing this in the middle of a championship run. Maybe the other schools just cover it up, who knows.

first we have the summer stuff publicized. Then the constant taunting on the field, now this on the national level....not saying we are headed down hurricane row, but it doesn't look good.

If those players care so much about winning a national championship, then they wouldn't have broken the rules.
