Not concerned about State... put a safety over the top of De'Runnya and have Tre White shadow their #2 guy all game. Godchaux, Lacouture, and Beckwith will make damn sure Prescott doesn't beat us the same way he did last year and I guarantee Miles will be showing Dillon Day clips for weeks leading up to that game.

Auburn is a toss-up, IMO. Nobody really knows how good Jeremy Johnson is just like nobody knows how good Brandon Harris is. I would say it'll be just as big a beating as we'll give State, but pairing Malzahn with Muschamp is extremely dangerous.

I am very, very glad that we catch them early in the season before the young guys have time to gel.... 8-0 heading into November is very possible, and until proven otherwise, I'm going to pencil in a win against Sumlin.

1-2 against Saban, Freeze, and Bielema would be a wildly successful, albiet disappointing season... however, 11-2 with a bowl win would have me thinking NC or bust in 2016.

what i look at most is 1) SEC W-L record and 2) running total of bowl games for the last 5 years.

He has to win at least 10 this year. At a minimum.

I personally think that Miles does not have the "fire" still in him.....he has been having too much fun......minus that burning desire to win a Championship.

Just my opion...I hope that I am dead wrong!!!

I don't know beans, but watching the 2007 Florida replay, I was struck by how much more engaged and animated CLM was on the sideline then compared to now.

I don't know anyone reporting on Steele yet. I expect many stories once the season begins. But when Miles says "he hears" BH had a great summer rather than seen a great summer then we have a coach who is not tremendously focus on the weakest position on the team. That indicates a disconnect.

Irony. And if you don't think Coach Orgeron is an upgrade over Brick Haley then you're an idiot.

You haven't see Steele's defense at LSU yet. How can any rational person conclude that he is a downgrade?

He was exposed and eviscerated on Jan 9, 2012.

Put another way, once Bruce Jenner became Catlyn, there was no going back to being Bruce.

Past 7 years excluding Mett our starter is basically a backup at most top 25 schools. We have 2 2nd string guys and unfortunately one has to start. Both are good kids but one doesn't have the arm, the other doesn't have the head to learn the playbook. We'll be stuck with 7-5 8-4 until Miles leaves.
