They play the game the same way. Bech is bigger but he and Landry both lack "deep speed" but make up for it by running crisp routes, being tough as nails, and catching everything thrown their way. They both also run hard af with the ball in their hands.

I found myself loving Bech and it finally dawned on me that I love him for all the same reasons I loved Jarvis.

Solid comparison. It's getting old that people only want to compare him to other white dudes.

I guess I can see how you'd come to that conclusion but I think he is a Justin Jefferson clone.

He's more Jefferson than Odell. His stride is a clone of Jefferson's. It's crazy.

Why the obsession with comparing current players to former players? How about Bech = Bech?

Some dude tried to compare him to 5'9" Wes Welker.

Jarvis Landry is definitely the closest recent Tiger comparison. And if we're really pumping, Jack Bech has similar measurables to Michael Clayton.

Big Bech fan. Guy obviously loves repping the P&G.

I heard that might be a comparison in the preseason and I didn’t take much stock in it but then he made that catch over the middle and did that hesitation move that Jets was so good at and my jaw dropped. You couldn’t tell the two apart if you didn’t see the jersey #’s

Easy now.. They both wear #80.
That's about all he has in common with Landry at this point.
He had a good game against CMU.

comparing his route-running, toughness, and catching ability to Jarvis is an insult to the real #80.

He is good, but let's not get crazy

I mean personally, I see a lot of Julian Edelman in him. Also sprinkle in a little bit of Wes Welker and Cole Beasley.

He had a great game but the moment I appreciated most and made me legit smile is when he ran down the field to throw that block. I love it

Smith's catch where Bech sprints downfield to block says a lot about his style of play. That coupled with his one handed TD catch is why people are drawing comparisons to Jarvis.

No doubt. He definitely has a bigger skill set than a Chris Hogan, Julian Edelman type.

True. Props to him for a good game, but it was against CMU. I agree that he is talented & has potential to be as good as Jarvis, but he's got a lot tougher competition ahead in SEC that he needs to prove himself against.
