In baseball, there were (and still are) two separate double-elimination sides to get to the championship game (or championship series). It looks like the winner of tomorrow's game will play the winner of the elimination bracket on Sunday. I would think that the elimination bracket team would have to win twice?

New to college beach volleyball as well. I’ve only kept up with it during the Olympics but LSU has a fun team to watch!
Impressive for this program to be this competitive on a national scale already considering it’s a relatively new program. The new facilities are already brining in some big time recruits.
Seems like there is a pretty big fan support already. It’s loaded with LSU fans at Gulf Shores. I guess I will have to manufacture more time in the future to keep up with these ladies

Yep, they are showing their match right now. The other team isn't too shabby either.

The McNamara girls for UCLA complain a lot. And they shouldn’t. They got bailed out with a bad call in their match against Hawaii.

X do you have a decent knowledge of the rules or are you just the most informed of us newbies, a tallest midget of sorts?
Cuz I want to know if we can shuffle our teams and have our worst pair play the McNamara girls? Concede that one and try to win 3 of the other 4.

I know you can make changes from one event to another, but I don’t think you can inside the same event. And if changes are made, a player(s) can only be moved up/down one position between events.
But the rules state that teams must be in order of ability. So doing something like that in the middle of a tournament would likely not be allowed. Especially since LSUs 1s are arguably the best pair in the nation.

Of note, I’m pretty sure that LSU is the only non California team to ever beat UCLA.
