He's a lot closer than ALL the other coaches mentioned on this board during the hiring process.

Hoooollly Sh*t I just agreed with a Bama fan! Check out what he posted! It’s terrible that he had to be the one to speak the most Truth and have rational thought on here! Some of you would love to watch the ship burn and never even realize that your in the god da*n boat! You just want to be right or mad because LSU didn’t consult with you before they made a decision on what would be best for LSU at head coach! Dude is making moves but your righteousness and anger is blinding you!

If he turns into Bill snyder and does absolutely no gameday coaching and just stands there like a mascot then yes.

Yes. Hopefully next year or at least improve to 2 losses.. under right circumstances such as what happened wit atm maybe a 3rd is acceptable. Just needs improvement and every year he has gotten better, win this bowl game hopefully its a team that will help with recruiting such as michigan and continue the trend. Geaux tigers!! Finish strong!

Yes. If he recruits well and fills in the gaps with quality player. If he hires a quality OC and keeps a quality DC then yes. Give me Lincoln Riley as OC, Dave Aranda as DC and Bama talent, I could be the head coach. Hell I could stay outta the way enough to get to the playoffs. The scam would only last a year or two.

I agree with Bama fan too. I don’t know if he is being sincere or not but that’s beside the point. Coach O is on a short leash and he knows it. 1 bad year and he is on his way out because he was hired on the hot seat. Most Coaches get a grace period for 2 or 3 yrs but he isn’t/won’t get that. He either wins 8-9 minimum a year or he is out. How many coaches are on the hot seat as soon as they are hired? It was a brilliant move if you think about it!

Actually he was incredibly close this year with a brand new qb and lots of young wr, ol, and no nfl caliber tailback.... all with an insanely tough schedule
