Bama silence on these stats....deafening. Go figure.

I see nothing new. The computers have loved OSU all year, these stats are the reason. No surprise with these stats.

The coaches and Harris voters watch the games and feel by an overwhelming margin that Bama is better. For good measure even the media(AP) picks Bama almost unanimously ahead of OSU.

Computers will continue to favor OSU if they win against OU, and will continue to kill VT.

I'm laughing that someone believes people watch all the games. Really?

The reason Bama is ahead of OSU in the polls is prejudice that begins in preseason and with the name Alabama. That is it, nothing more.

Didn't think anyone would take that statement that way.

In relation to computers, the voters do watch the games. All of them? Of course not.

Nice job, but there is one flaw.

If Okie State and Va Tech both win, then Oklahoma's and Clemson's ratings will both fall. Clemson may drop out of the top 30 in the BCS with a bad loss.

You are giving them credit for beating teams with this week's BCS numbers.

I agree with that for the most part, and like I said I don't have a problem with Bama in the Championship game. I just have a problem with people who discount any of these other teams even having an arguement, the numbers prove that if anything, atleast these 4 teams resumes should be up for debate.

I think these numbers show just how impressive Oklahoma States year has been, they have accomplished a considerable amount more then Stanford or Virginia Tech.

Without a doubt. But the voters won't have the luxury of viewing the final computer polls before they submit their final ballots, so this is what we have.

Hopefully some in the media start to wake up.... example: Mandel

Rod Gilmore was also making a good argument last night on the BCS countdown show.

Okie state needs to beat OU. Then they will get some hype

I think they need the "hype" now. So when they win, the "hype" can propel them to the title game.

everyone is focusing on the wins and not the loss. losing to iowa st is bad. iowa st. stats:

PASSING YARDS 217.0 71st
Overall RUSHING YARDS 178.1 37th
Overall POINTS FOR 23.5 85th
Overall POINTS AGAINST 29.5 81st

6-5, 3-5 in conference

to me, that negates whatever advantage osu has in wins over bama

No, it's because Alabama is a better team than OSU.

But there's the beauty of the computers. To quote one of Sears commercials, "It's raining cold, hard facts in here!!" Completely objective. Whereas a human poll is typically VERY subjective.

If the situations were reversed between UA and OSU, Bama fans would be throwing around these same computer stats and using the same argument that OSU already had a loss to LSU. Can't have it both ways.

Is that an absolute? Just curious?
Also did you think Alabama was better than LSU before they played? If the answer is yes then I guess your eyes must have deceived you before....what makes you so sure you are right this time?

Oklahoma State has clearly earned the right to play LSU, if they beat OU.

they have IMO

but you have a lot of voters who seem determined to disagree
