It's the only chance we have of winning. We can't just concentrate on not turning the ball over and cross our fingers that we somehow have more points than the other team when time expires. We are going to have to actually put the ball in the fricking endzone.

if LSU had any semblance of an o-line, the offense would be fine

While the line is not playing there best it is really hard for them to do any good when every team keeps stacking 8 and 9 guys in the box. They do this because they know Jefferson is not completing passes. While he hasn't thrown any picks if you watch the film he is over and under throwing recievers all the time. In turn, defense stacks the box puts pressure on him, he can't pass, and its also why we are having trouble running the ball.

It just doesn't make any sense to me, given Crowton's skills and history. Though, Oregon fans did talk about how his offense declines in production every year.

But they didn't have the sick athletes we do. I just don't get any of the play calling.

Maybe I'm a moron.

I don't think you could get any dumber if somebody cut your head off.

I don't speak for all fans, but I think most are satisfied with our QB based on his 6 starts. Last year every fan wanted, more than anything else, a QB who would stop throwing the ball to the wrong team and a defense that could occasionally stop the other team from scoring. We accomplished the QB issue and are still working on the defense.

Nobody could foresee that JJ would have an offensive line that would be substantially worse than the one blocking for JL last year.

the offensive talent Crowton left at Oregon in 07 would probably have won the NC had Dixon not hurt his knee. and this was with a couple of their skill guys going down early in the yr.

I think at times Crowton out-thinks himself and gets too cute.

You got a QB who doesnt make mistakes. Correct

You got a QB who rarely gets the playmakers the ball in stride so they can do something with it. Correct
You also got a QB who doesnt make big plays. False
You also got a QB who doesnt see wide open recievers running down the middle of the field. Correct

You also got a QB who only threw for around 240 yards against a Miss St. team who put 8 in the box all game to stop the run. Correct

Lastly, the offensive line and full backs cant block when its 7 on 8. Correct

And the running backs cant run when there is nowhere for them to go. Correct

We havent played anyone yet. Correct

Hmmm.. not that bad of a post?

WOW, what a moron. Jefferson has performed amazingly well considering he is playing behind a crappy line with a minimal running game. He's 19 years old, the youngest starting QB in the league who has played in what 7 games? Some of you criticize him like he should be performing like Drew Brees. Get a little perspective.....and a life.

I guess going from missing WRs deep to hitting them in one week isn't good enough for some. It's amazing how people cannot see the development this young man is making from one week to the next, and he's doing this at 19. When others on offense start making those same strides with their game, this offense will be lights out.

crappy analysis. No pick -6s vastly preferable to pick 6s every game. Pretty elementary.

He makes mistakes quiet often every game. He has never been a QB that doesn't make mistakes. He is a QB that makes a ton of them every game he plays in.
