I’m from Oregon and visiting my 26th college football stadium on October 12 for LSU vs Florida game. Heading to New Orleans October 10 then Baton Rouge on the 11th.
Lucky duck you picked a good one being that it’s going to be a revenge night game. 100% you enjoy your trip. Have fun, enjoy it and get plenty of drinking in pregame!

Barb just forwarded me their bit on Game Day. They were featured...I had no idea. Game Day crew is highly impressed with their journey. I’m very excited for them. Hopefully, they get mostly southern stops in November :-)...Driving through Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. during those months could be tough...
Hoping for the following...
October 12 - Baton Rouge
October 19 - Seattle (For Oregon at Washington :-)!

New Orleans...don’t spend a lot of time on Bourbon St but if you’ve never been, you gotta go. Frenchman St for live music. During the day, WWII museum is well worth the time. Food...Parkway for a po-boy. Mandina’s or Liuza’s for dinner.
You’ve picked a great game. Campus will be packed.

4. Side note, any tennis players on this blog? I’m between a 4.0 and 4.5 level player looking for someone in NO and/or BR to hit with during the weekend...
What age bracket? I know the rating is the rating, but it will possibly help me help you.

Dude. Grow up. Shut the frick up.
You do not represent LSU with shite like this. LSU has earned the title of a "bucket list" destination all over the country and a lot of the world over the years. We get a LOT of these "first time" posts EVERY single year. Why do you think that is? That is because this venue, this University, this State and the people who love LSU have EARNED it over many, many years by doing nothing other than being ourselves and representing some of the better things that Louisiana has to offer.
I get the snarky remarks to another SEC fan like Bama or Florida, but that's all in context and they know better.....when we get somebody who appreciates things about college football and wants to experience an LSU game/atmosphere it should always be embraced and welcomed.

I am 51, but can play pretty competitively with any age group at 4.0 or 4.5 level.
