The shooting has been off and the refs are a joke, but I like that we're "struggling" if you can call it that. Gives us motivation to work. If it was 60-30 now, we coast and that's not helpful to growth.

6 assists and he will start his career with a triple double.

I assume he scores at least one point in the second half.

Yep.

Simmons with Blakeney, TQ, Hornsby, Sampson, Patterson, Gray, etc. in the open floor is gonna be extremely tough to stop. A lot of athleticism, length, and shooting ability on this team.

I agree. There's a lot of scorers out there and with simmons that is going to be extremely fun to watch.

We finally have the players to run a JJ offense. It's going to be fun

Loving simmons on d too

Simmons is one of the most impressive basketball players I've ever seen.

He's so smooth and fluid. Makes it look so easy at his size to play as agile as a point guard. His vision is unreal and he is all over the putbacks and offensive boards. I can't wait to see this season play out.

You can just tell that the game moves so slow for him. He isn't panicking or out of control. He just knows what he and everyone else is or should be doing.

He is the type of guy that will have those "quiet" triple doubles all the time.

That's been the most impressive part. He just so far advanced than everyone else. Rarely goes for a head fake

exactly what I was thinking

it's like he sees everything so easily and effortlessly like he's in slow motion but full speed

He is to basketball, what LF7 is to football, in my opinion. It's honestly unbelievable that we have them both at LSU at the same time.

He's got 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists at half. He is so damn smooth and always in the right position.

Yep. He's got that rare ability to almost see something before it happens. He's always 1 step ahead of his teammates and 2 steps ahead of the D. His IQ is off the chats.

Right?! Unreal! 2 once in a lifetime athletes in 2 different sports here. It is hard to believe.
