Reed looks tentative and not entirely comfortable, but I don't hate what these new guys look like, if I'm being completely honest here. Particularly Thomas and Nwoko.
Agreed. If they can play against good competition like they’ve played so far in the second half, they could be fun to watch.

Yeah.

Middle of the SEC pack and at least a bubble team is my benchmark for McMahon. Anything lower and you gotta cut ties, IMO.

I think we need to make the NCAAT in year 4 and a supposed increase in NIL.

These dudes look more physical and got some nice strokes.

Sounds like a good crowd in their arena, too....surprising for UCF hoops on a Sunday like this

This game has a very "NIT at best" feel to it.

My benchmark is really mid-SEC. If the SEC is as good as last season, that's an NCAAT bid. I went bubble because perceptions of conferences change as the season goes on, so mid may be a bubble team. But I expect the mid-level teams to get bids this season, as well. If LSU wins 8 SEC games, they will likely be in. Last season, all the teams that had 6 or more SEC wins made the NCAAT, 14 of 16. I do not expect that to be the case this season.

It’s an exhibition game in October.

I'm telling you now, it won't happen.

The non conference slate is too weak. They have no room for error. Being generous, I can find 8 SEC wins.

I don't think that will be enough barring a clean sweep of the non-conference slat.

I think from a NET standpoint they will probably be mid to low 70's at the end of the year. Just enough for a 1-2 seed in the NIT
