This guy probably won't come to LSU. Even if he did, he wouldn't save our program. I have seen the guy play over 10 times. Is he a good high school basketball player? No, he is an outstanding high school player. The guy is an animal. Will he be as good in college? Well that I am not sold on. Makes a lot of mental errors, uses his size to out play opponents. He is more bigger than everyone than so much better. He doesn't shot the ball extremely well and dunks more than he shoots. Am I saying this guy won't live up to the hype, no. But I am saying don't think if we sign him we are set, because he is far from what you hear. He has the ability, but his skills aren't there yet. And if Trent is as bad as you guys say, he will stay at the same level he is now.

if we sucked, we wouldn't have had a chance to win the game. No, you're pissed saying the coach is dumb, we suck, because a better team beat us? that's ignorance my friend. you thought we would be u.n.c. or ky?
Okay, let me see if I can spell this out for you:
1. We are WORSE than NW. We can all agree on that.
2. TJ is the head mean of this team
3. NW is not that good, no matter what you want to believe
4. So, because of Trent, we are expected to lose to a mediocre team. Oh, but because we were expected to lose, it's cool.
As long as Trent Johnson stays here, we will never disappoint because nobody will ever expect us to win.

How is this team young ?
1. 13 players = 4 fresh + 3 soph +3 Jrs. + 3 Seniors.
= 7 underclassmen and 6 upperclassmen..sounds balanced to me.
Because that is the default excuse for Trent "The Chicken Vulture" Johnson.

It's too bad that the upperclassmen are severely undertalented to compete in the SEC in a full time role. Role players and off-the-bench players.
THIS team and the talent it takes to win games are young and/or new to the program. O'Bryant, Hickey, Stringer, Turner, Hamilton (transfer though Jr) is this team, with smidgens of Storm, Ludgwig, and White as necessary.

Dude, if that is really the best you can do, time to find a job cleaning toilets, because you obviously don't have the wit for much else.

But we start a 2 sophs 1 freshman and first off bench is a fresh. So I r correct we have older players...our ones that get on the floor are young

Where was Storm Warren in the second half?

Chip is a better jokester than you.

So now the argument even has caveats. What's next? We're young because these guys graduated high school on time?

We're three games into the season so one game can skew those stats one way or another.

Okay, so what's the excuse for our older players that TJ recruited not being SEC caliber players?

Good point. Staggering nonetheless.

Great, go tell Chip you need someone to make relevant arguments for you.

Right...but we are 4 years into Trent's divine program. If you are relying on 4 freshman to start and succeed, what have you been doing the past three years in recruiting ? 4 freshmen at U of Kentucky > 3 seniors + 3 jrs at lsu ? WTF ?

FWIW, I'm not saying TJ should get a pass on this season. He needs to compete and have a .500 team in the SEC. As I've said before, I'm not throwing in the towel 3 games into the season. The key players on this team are still gelling and getting up to tempo (Italy tour notwithstanding).
I wasn't a fan of TJ's adjustments (or lack thereof) in the 2nd half. But I'm armchair coaching. I don't know what he specifically he told them, if anything. Maybe he gave them all the tools that they needed, but we didn't execute.
