This team has to come to the realization that this is NOT AAU. They play defense and fundamentals in college basketball.

In all fairness, teams playing 4 freshman for 80% of the game probably aren’t going to be the most defensively disciplined teams in the country. These are a bunch of guys who are trying to learn to play with each other, how to communicate on defense, knowing your teammates strengths and weaknesses on offense. They don’t know this kind of stuff yet. One of the biggest things that have affected us so far this year, is that Tremont and Daryl have played miserably so far. The new guys are trying to learn how to play the college game so they should be able to lean on the more experienced players, and while Kavell and Sky have done their part, Tre and Daryl have not. If we’re going to do anything this year, we need those two to step up.

The boys should have gone to bed after overtime #3 last night. Started off 0-10 or so from the field and didn't score a basket for the first six minutes or so, were down 13-2, then came back and took the lead, but lost it just before half. 2nd half they haven't done anything right. Waters has been turning the ball over too much, Naz has looked off for a few games and we still can't stop the 3.

LSU really needs to take a long hard look at the AD, football program and girls and mens basketball programs and decide where they want LSU to be, a mid level or high end sports program, they have the money to make it happen, would pay for itself in the long run. The LSU TIGER NATIONS deserves better than what it is now

Wade has to be given time. That being said he needs to find an offense. I am so tired of watching streetball. It’s we like we have no plan or objective on offense. For those that know, what kind of system did he run at VCU?

So far it looks like Brady Ball. Recruiting, defense and rebounding but no coaching on offense.

I don't know if Wade is a good coach or not. It certainly doesn't look like it so far but it's still early. I do know this though, don't come here getting mad when fans don't show up for the games. This program has done nothing but disappoint for years now. They are going to have to earn attention and to this point they have only reinforced the notion that this is a team not worth paying attention to. They can't complain if they play in an empty arena nightly until they demand attention by winning big games.
