Excruciatingly difficult to watch this game. LSU is just as talented as Kentucky. Difference is Kentucky plays team ball while LSU plays "dribble the time clock down to shoot a deep 3"

LSU is not just as talented as Kentucky. Ben Simmons would start for Kentucky and blakeney might would start but more than likely come off the bench. TQ might come off the bench. LSU has talented players but no quality depth. Kentucky has quality depth.

Nah, we aren't. Our talent is at positions where they can match up fairly well. Their back court blows ours out of the water.

That being said, we're better than we played in the 1st half.

2/14 from 3 that's the difference in this game currently. If some of those open 3's start falling for Quarterman and Blakeny I think we'll pull this one out.

Outside of our starting 5 we have nobody. Our bench is painfully bad

Who actually improved from last year? Maybe Hornsby? TQ? No. Patterson? Not close? Gray? Haha. Our current best players are 1st year guys. Simmons, Victor and Blakeney.

CBS corrected the stat to 2-14 from 3. Blakeney's initial called 2 was a 3.

But still, if we go 5-14 from 3, 35%, it's a tie game.

ETA: Not having Hornsby hurts.

We should try to press off of a made free throw or something.

TOs go by the game, nit the half. I swear some of y'all don't have a clue how this works. He uses those TOs, we are out for the rest of the game.

Damn, we definitely owned Kentucky in the school commercial competition. That was awful.

I agree. We were very close to picking their pocket multiple times. I just don't know if we have the gas to press.

What is LSU's seed in the SEC if they were to go on and lose this game?

Since Vandy lost we've locked up a top 4 seed. If we lose we'll have either the 3 or 4 seed depending on the South Carolina game. Win and we get the 2.

True.

Another somewhat alarming stat is that Kentucky has only shot 4 3s in the game. They average 18 attempts per game. They're getting the ball near the lane and they've made a ton of those elbow jumpers with damn near wide open looks.

We have three really good players. Kentucky has a bench full.

"This is a poorly disciplined and prepared team".

basketball really isn't rocket science. There's no real playmaking-effcient point guard on this team. A simple pick to free up Blakeney can do wonders, except he is hesitating when he gets it throwing his own rythym off. Victor should be involved in pick and rolls- thats on the coaches.

Lots of contact at the rim, Jesus. Good hustle from Simmons though.
