I didn't say it wasn't (even though, the SEC as a whole is down). In fact, I even said LSU is a good team, and I think they could make some Tourney noise. My post was related to the idea that THIS GAME shows they are for real.

OK, wise guy. Take a 7-man bench that is totally fried from a double-OT game Wed night, playing without their PG, manning up and getting down to business to win a game with guts and effort on an off-night. This team has balls and a will to win. If you've ever played sports you know these are important traits. Simply put, we are rising above the mediocrity that has been the SEC and we look forward to beating down upon whoever stands in our way. Go Tigers! You Bucknuts wish you were us.

This was a great win we showed poise and heart as usual. i know being an lsu fan we start bitching when the tigers aren't dominating every minute of every sport but thats what makes us tiger fans. i love it. i really like this team and look forward to watching or listening or whatever to every game they play, geaux tigers.

Reminds of of 2007 in football. Buckeye fans were in the forefront of claiming that LSU was overrated. Of course,that was before the arse kicking that they received come time to back it up. I actually thought the guy was a decent fan, but I guess he was full of hot air like the rest of his kind.

Great question. It was more of a "general feel" and if I go through each individual team, it's very possible that I would have LSU somewhere around 20-25. I don't feel like going through all the teams' resumes and checking them compared to LSU. Just comparing to average years/the resumes of those normally in the lower end of the polls, to LSU's now. I just feel LSU's lack of a good OOC win, and a weak SEC, is hurting them. So, like I said, my opinion on that isn't based on teams this year (as I'm not making a poll) just kind of how I'd normally see it.
(Note: It's entirely possible, perhaps likely, though, that if I did take the time to look up resumes of potential top 25 teams, I could find 25 whose overall bodies of work are better than LSU's.)

Not me. They easily deserved to be in the NCG. They clearly had the better resume, compared to USC, Va Tech, West Virgina, Oklahoma, etc. This isn't about football, though, so I really don't get the point.

Yeah, I didn't say LSU sucks or anything. Try going on any message board other than an LSU fan and stating LSU has at least a chance of going to the Sweet 16. They'll probably laugh you off the site. But I think it's possible.
