Just wanted to check in and say I thought Tuba was pulling the goal down on his slam. He has the power and agility of Shaq.

AH bossin' it up at the end of the half

I just hope we can come out strong at half. We tend to let teams back in it sometimes with slow.start

Really nice job of coaching at the end of the half by CJJ. Good to see a coach get aggressive and start trying different things when his team is sucking

I like the effort. This team may lack talent that i want but i like their grittiness and effort. I like thinking about the future of lsu bball... And yes i understand we beat a bad moo st and facing a down vandy team for all u negatigs
We definitely play above our heads. We have 2 legit talents in Hickey and JOB III, and some solid support players in Stringer, Carmouche and Coleman...but then after that it's like a gigantic drop off. Morgan I will say has come around a bit, I think he might be the biggest improvement from year 1 to 2 of the class Johnny Jones brought in of Coleman, Collins and Hammink with him.
We are desperately missing a few more difference makers though, and some depth that we can put on the court and not go 15 for 17 shooting...

Still gives the team confidence going @ Bama Saturday. That is a big test for the Tigers.
Absolutely, that could be the solid road win we are sorely lacking. Looks like they are playing herp derp ball tonight with Auburn (23-13 Bama at halftime). I know Bama fans complain they have zero offense, we need really up-tempo against them. Throw up some points early and make them play from behind.

Vandy is 4-21 from the field. Getting to the foul line is the only thing keeping them afloat. Still feel like we've had some chances to be better than 11-28.

I love this team. I'm in town for MSU, hope it's packed, team deserves the support

I'm getting that same feeling I got last year when we started on that little run against Auburn, State, Bama.

Good lord, what was Coleman doing there
Posted on 2/6/13 at 8:06 pm to thunderbird1100
CJJ being very conservative when it comes to fouls
Posted on 2/6/13 at 8:07 pm to thunderbird1100
Vandy is missing wide open 3s...by a lot
Posted on 2/6/13 at 8:09 pm to thunderbird1100
Damn, Stringer 1/3 from the line there, cant see the ball through the hoop tonight
Posted on 2/6/13 at 8:11 pm to thunderbird1100
Meh, offense back in a hole again to start the half, thought we would do better with JOB III back in.

Vandy is determined to slow these game to absolute boredom.
