Does he stay? Has he done enough on tape to declare? I say no, but his replacing Damone Clark clearly made a difference. Is Clark that bad, or is Baskerville that much of a difference maker?

You've seen our defense play well enough to call a player on it a "difference maker."

I'll have whatever you are smoking.

He absolutely should not declare but knowing our luck in the past, he'll leave. He'll just be another "NFLSU" tiger who doesn't get drafted.

Baskerville stays. Nowhere near enough good tape on him and some bad tape even this year. Clark is that bad right now, but he’ll be better once someone can teach him what his responsibilities are. He looked good until Bo took over.

Would it surprise you if he left though? This isn't Bama where players actually have a vested interest in the program. It's all about making it to league.

Clark is that bad and I don’t think Baskerville has done enough to declare

All I know is DJ Welter would be an improvement over Damone Clark.

Yes, it would surprise the shite out of me

I could see damone Clark leaving before baskerville
Baskerville is finally getting his chance.
He has barely played and he is a junior

I just assume any draft eligible player will leave

It helps make for a nice surprise for when they do stay

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. LSU is infamous for having Juniors declare and not get drafted. Baskerville fits that mold.

Did I say he wasn't an improvement? You said he was a difference maker. What difference has he made? Did Bama just not pass and run on us at will? How is that any different than what everyone else has done?

Clark, Yes. Baskerville, No.

Orgeron screwed himself and the defense when he gave Clark that #18. He felt obligated to play him in the beginning. Once he figured out that Clark has slow feet, cant shed blocks, or take good angles (everything a LB should be able to do consistently) Baskerville came in.

Of course one player is not going to make a difference in the grand scheme of things - there's 10 other players on the field. At that LB position he did indeed make a difference. Or, in your case, an improvement. TOMATOES, TOMOTOES.

Nothing surprises me with this team. 3rd string guys who have all of 3 snaps in their career declare early at NFLSU.

He will definitely leave. Undrafted free agent but he and every other eligible to leave player will bolt. Every F ing year.
