I’ve heard differently. Maybe it has changed. It’s a pretty well known practice.

There were actually a few more throwbacks than I anticipated. 90s and 00s rap coming back for these kids born after the songs were released.

Guy I work with transferred in under smoke, and also played one year under paul. He says they picked their own songs back then.

Easily could have been a Paulie rule though. So, you may be right.
