There are no sub-regionals. There are Regionals and Super Regionals. I meant Regional. We won't get a Regional this year. Tough to make it to Omaha on the road.

We just need the committee to send us to a place like UCONN matched up with the national seed like Oklahoma to make it to Omaha on the road.

Here's what needs to happen (and at this point, I don't have a lot of faith in it actually happening, but it's certainly do-able):
1. Win the final two games of the Arky series
2. Go 13-5 in our final 18 SEC games to finish at 18-12 in SEC play (basically win all six SEC series, one of which in a sweep... if we lose a series, add an extra needed sweep).
It's time to turn it on, no doubt.

It is gonna take something wacky like that. I am not giving up on the season yet, but we are falling behind too many highly ranked SEC teams that will get to host ahead of us unless we go on a streak like 2008.

I agree with you. I have faith, but it is dwindling.

We don't need a crazy win streak to get a Top8 seed IMO. Again, I don't have a lot of faith in this happening, but we just need to win series...simple as that.
Unfortunately, with our start we've given ourselves no wiggle room. If we want a Top8 seed, we basically have to win all 7 series from this point forward. Will it happen? Probably not. But it's certainly do-able with our SP.
This team just doesn't have a lot of go-to guys IMO. Basically we've got Mahtook and then everyone else ... there's pretty much no one in our lineup that I have faith in when they're up in a clutch situation.

The 05 team went 13-5 to finish SEC play. That team was filled with Seniors, though.

Dude, we will not get a top 8 seed. We won't even host much less get a top 8 seed. We need to just hope to make the tourney right now.
