Baseball team is in serious trouble

I don’t believe anyone thought they would be close to this bad. We can keep saying they’ll be better next week, but it’s looking more and more like this is what we are. Very disappointing, can anyone run some numbers and give a likely percentage that we’ll make a regional?

Some people are going to come on and say that there is 0% chance that LSU makes a regional.
In all honesty, it sucks right now. But I’d put our chances of making a regional at about 35-40%, which is embarrassing. There’s virtually no chance we host a regional, unless we do something miraculously

Early losses to Stoney Brook and Xavier should have sent up red flags.
Absolutely no consistency hitting, pitching and fielding.
Heck, Tommy White and Jared Jones are the only ones making plays and we were worried about them coming into the season.

I don’t think not going through the pre- conference schedule completely undefeated is cause for alarm. We didn’t last year.

Yeah the mid week games aren’t as concerning as losing the first four conference series. This is flat out bad.
