for those of you who attend the scrimmages regularly, were the coaches this active during the previous regime?

Went to the last 2 Sunday scrimmages and it looked like the coaches were counseling players almost every at bat.

No, I noticed the difference the first scrimmages last year. Jay Johnson would walk around behind the infieldwers during the scrimmages and watch them while play was going on. The level of coach's activity was night and day from the previous staff. I attributed much of this to coach Manieri's ailments his last few seasons here.

Hunt and Musso this morning in case anyone is interested

They went through entire starting lineup basically with their picks.

Nothing groundbreaking and pretty much what we all talk about on here but just reinforces the options this team truly has.

No doubt. His transition from HS to college has been met with high-end SEC pitching which LSU possesses this season. I couldn't imagine going from maybe seeing DIV 1 college level SP/RP a few times a year to seeing Skenes, Hurd, Taylor, Floyd, Little, etc. His reps/PT will be invaluable for 2024 and beyond.

If there's any silver lining to his... slow start we'll call it, maybe he wont be 2 and done and off to the MLB draft as some predicted.

Enjoyed the listen. Thanks for sharing! They didn’t say much about our defense. What’s the feelings so far about White’s ability to defend at 3B?

So far, White has shown he can handle 3B without being a liability there.

Two takeaways I noticed from the show. They believe Shores will be in the rotation before the year is over. Also Little
hit 98 in practice but offspeed is his strength.

Coincidentally, Nuss' cousin is Gavin Guidry and people (before the spring started) were clamoring for him to replace Thompson.
