I think he's also got the combo of a ton of experience, age, and lack of pro potential that may lead to him being leaned on in less than optimal situations so as to save the arm of a younger pitcher. It's unsavory to talk about, but it's absolutely a thing, and to be frank, it's a plus for him.

I'm hearing Gervase as a closer. I was told of another. It wasn't Reyz, but I can't remember who it was.

Grant Taylor has been throwing back there some. Paul and Dunn looked at Edwards back there a bit. I think Floyd could be good back there. Several guys fit. Reyz is your best arm.

Taylor was hitting 95-96 in the fall scrimmages I attended. Not all about velo of course, but he does throw gas.
