Ain't nothin' worse than trying to eat a couple of old, dried out satsumas.

Eta: Oops, sorry CT..

My question though is still, if LSU did in fact have a solid option as a 4th starter.. would they still value him too much to use midweek and instead use him along with this current bullpen.

If we had a 4th starter, we wouldn't have to worry as much as we do now about burning the good arms out of our bullpen. That 4th starter might still get used on the weekend if they don't pitch much during the midweek, but chances are they'd just pitch the midweek games. Then again...starting a game is way different mentally for those guys compared to coming out of the pen.

First year keeping up with LSU baseball?

One of the better arms actually. This statement is comical really - based upon the history of this player and some others at the box. Hope to see him and a few others back on top soon.

Assuming we don't play tonight, there are options to move it and continue later. I'm looking at the first week of May, we don't have a midweek game scheduled then (between Ole Miss and Arkansas). SLU has Jackson State that Wednesday, but maybe they'd be willing to come here Tuesday to finish.

I like it this way, that way everyone is available out the pen on the weekend. Plus you giving lots of guys work.

We should respect our elders. Unless they're Geauxt.

You reckon that's because of finals week? Could they put a rescheduled game there if that's finals week?

That's what I was wondering.
Thank you for answering my question. Seriously, thank you Sasquatch.

Exactly. I know.

Been a fan since the 90's. Haven't missed watching a single baseball game since 2008.

I broadcast every single LSU baseball game.. I was just having a fan moment. I even admitted it's the right call.. I knew that all along. I was just curious what LSU would do with this team, not any season's past.. and what other teams this season, not past seasons.. are doing.

Good point, hadn't thought of that. I know they still practice during finals week, so I'm not sure if a rescheduled home game would be OK. There aren't many other options unless we want to play 5 days in a row at some point.
