Baseball Regional Question: South Alabama

For those on the board who know about seeding and regional projections, is it looking like South Alabama will host a Regional, and that LSU's Regional will be paired with them?

No one has any idea who will be paired with us. There's no formula or geographic reason for super regional parings.

yes correct, and LSU will travel to Mobile for Supers

Very possible on both accounts. they need to finish strong but yeah it's possible.

We have no idea who's coming here for either the regional or supers. Only thing we know is we're hosting both.

That's not what I was asking... I understand LSU would host the Super. I was asking would the two regionals be paired together. Potential pitting South Alabama and LSU.

Sure. But the committee could just as easily send them to any other of the tons of eastern national seeds.

Sure, but its as good of a chance that its them over anyone right now, maybe Fla St if they can't get a super, which would suck

South Alabama is playing ULL this weekend which will likely determine hosting for both schools. My bet is if either team sweeps, they'll host the regional while the other gets sent away as a #2 somewhere.
2/3 of from USA, and USA will host regional. It gets dicey if ULL wins 2/3.
