It bit him this time but I have absolutely zero issue with PM giving a freshman pitcher the chance to settle in to his pitches in a non conference game early in the season. Zero. It's a growing moment for a guy this team will have to rely on this season and future seasons.

I had no problem bringing in Peterson to start but once he did not have it today take him out a lot sooner than when Paul did.
