Tenn 10 runs in two innings on bad fielding and walks and we have basically shut them down since then. Bad base running kills another inning. This team is still young and learning. We will not face another pitching staff like this the rest of the season and we won the series. Plus this game isn’t over. We can put up a 4 spot easily and we’re back in the game

Still can learn a lot even if we lose. Cooper looked like old self. Dutton looked good. Hurd needs to get it together. I’d rather see Chase back on sundays on maybe try Little

The team is not young. The team has a ton of experience. And Jobert, our worst base runner, is a 22 year-old redshirt junior.

Morgan
Beloso
Thompson
Crews
Dugas

Then Jobert, White, Pearson, etc are in their 2nd year. This team isn't young at all.

So, not even his 2nd year.

Why do people think a team will go undefeated and never have bad games or bad innings in baseball? Bizarre.

Missed the three freshman regular starters and the number outs freshmen pitchers? There’s definitely a mixture of youth and experience.

Pearson White Neal Jones Kling, Shores Herring

I agree we have a lot of veteran pieces but also a lot of younger pieces as well. Freshman will get better each week. Team is far from its full potential

Using some young players does not make the team young. Every school uses freshmen.

Our experience is a huge strength. Whatever issues we’ve had today should not be blamed on “we’re young.” Older, veteran players have made the mistakes today, with the exception of Hurd, who kind of is what he is at this point.

Guys flipping out about one game don't understand baseball.

There is so much mental to the game one game or even a series says nothing about the season.

This stings yes, but we took the series from a very good team. In the games we won we fought them at their best, in this game they are likely to win with our help.

My question is when is this “we are young” excuse ever going to end? Because I’ve seen this excuse on here every single year
