Im a big ULL fan as well as LSU but alot of the players on that ULL team were arrogant douches. I haven't been around alot of college athletes and maybe its the norm but alot of them stayed next to us at University court yard in lafayette when it first opened and while a few of them were down to earth some of them acted like they were God's gift to baseball.

That was a great regional. The highlight was finding out the cussing and confrontational ULL lady super fan was the coaches wife. Stay classy.

Robichaux left no doubt in my mind he approved, and he is the only coach I've ever heard admit it. Since Maineri didn't say anything similar, and pulled his pitcher as the previous poster pointed out, you're simply speculating. So, it is not the same thing.
And let me be clear: I believe ANY coach found to have approved of beaning someone should be thrown out of the game and sanctioned by the NCAA.

Dude take the P&G shades off. Because PM didnt come out and say they threw at the batter on purpose its speculation? Are you that navie or do you just not watch baseball much? LSU throwing at the SB batter was bs but it's baseball and it happens. Get over it.

Correct. What evidence do you have showing that Maineri approved? Forgive me if I don't just take your word for it.
And do you even know what "speculation" means? It doesn't rule out the possibility that he did, it simply means we don't know, because unlike the idiot Robichaux, Maineri didn't say so. And my whole frickin' point is that when it's as clear as Robichaux made it, there should be serious consequences.
And if the situations were so clearly the same as you're making them out to be why was Robichaux thrown out after the hit but not Maineri? Just a naive ump I guess, huh?
