Sorry but LSU lost this game after they gave up 11 runs. You score 8 runs you should win. Many outstanding pitching prospects didn't do the job. And when you hit homers with no runners on base you could come up short later.

Just getting home from the game. Quite embarrassing considering the stadium was mostly LSU fans. But it's a typical mid-week game that I know we usually let down on, unfortunately.

Perhaps that came off wrong...just saying that when you go Johnny Wholestaff on a midweek game and it's the other team's "National Championship", you are bound for a let down. And you could definitely feel that tonight at Maestri Field with the way UNO was fired up.

Nobody's calling for pulmonary's job but he did choke this game away. There's no need to sugar coat that fact.
