I expected a couple plays like that out of Deichmann until he develops some experience in right. Rather get the cobwebs out sooner than later, it's the beauty of baseball season as opposed to football season

He lacked control in JUCO and didn't pitch in any summer leagues. Hopefully he can get some feel, but I don't know that he's going to see enough innings here to do it.

He looked pretty bad. His fastball is flat, can't control it, and he can't control his curve either. Looks like a project based on outing #1. Only 1 outing though but it was apparently the book on him.
