What the frick?? The dude threw the ball into right field, how was there interferance. Edward has every right to be there. He doesnt have to move unless there is a play at the plate. You cant expect the kid to read the catchers mind and run out of the box because he wants to play catch.

Even if the story about how they said the umpire took his mask off and hit the catchers arm was the case, it shouldnt matter because isnt the umpire part of the field. That was ridiculous

So if he hit the umpires arm and threw it into right field, it shouldnt just be a "do over". If your rounding the bases and you run into an umpire and then get tagged out trying to get up they arent going to let you go back to the bag because you ran into him, hes part of the field.
