I blame the last several years on him. With all the talent LSU has had, he had ONE good year, and even that year we were middle of pack until getting hot. Think about our regional with Houston last year......only a few outs away from the supers.....and PM takes over.........I have never thought much of him...but Houston game last year was the end for me with PM.
Amen.

He certainly should have pitched Poche on Monday after Cartwright tanked against Houston---should have won on Sunday.
He should have yanked Poche Friday night at least one batter earlier. He pitched great but came in the inning looking tired. He was grabbing dirt and his fast ball was off a couple of MPH.
Should have kept Neuman in today.

We are a young team we will hit strides like this.
Seriously, how many years area we going to continue to make excuses for PM?

That's baseball!
I'm gonna lose it if I hear that one more time. Not everything bad that happens in baseball is "just baseball." Sometimes the coach just fricks up royally. This weekend is one of those times

Les has won a NC and made it to the championship game of another. LSU has averaged around 6th or 7th overall talent classes in football. Meanwhile, PM has probably averaged 1st with LSU recruiting classes, and won a NC...and literally nothing else.

Maybe it isnt over, but it still doesnt look good or sit very well with me. Win or lose this series.
you move on, we have a very favorable schedule this year,
We ehave Bama on the road that is a very winnable series maybe even sweepable.
UGA on the road also very winnable.
aTm at home biggest series at home, we can win that too.
MSU on the road they are really struggling we can win that
Mizzouri at home, they are surprising but we can win that.
than USC on the road tough series
18-20 wins is a good season in the SEC, and puts in you in a position to host and possibly top 8.
If we lose we lose, move on and focus on the next weekends.
We are also going to be extremely dangerous in the post season, Latz is not far away from being ready to come back, I hear he has better potential than Lange.
LSU fans love to overreact, but we need to calm down and focus on next weekend.

It will be more because of how it was lost than the loss itself. No one will say this team sucks. You can see how good we are even in the losses. But damn this coach made it tough on the team this week.
