If i was a pitcher with a filthy breaking ball and know my catcher is a liability to block it in the dirt, i would be scared to throw it down there because it'll just turn into a passed ball.

Kramer has been making some terrible throws to first lately. Slaughter bailed him out twice last night on balls in the dirt.
