Pitching is suspect. Channeling a Ben Alsup at this point. Even he would help.

Oh I agree there's a massive dropoff after Tier 1 Beau.
I still find there is a massive drop off from tier 2 Pap to Wofford and Breaux. Just a gut feeling and opinion. I still feel as long as you have homerun potential it's worth it. Especially given how Wofford has been up in key situations and whiffed what 3 times? I'm not sure. It's been a rough game.

How some of you are defending jordan over PM, i dont know. Guess it shouldnt surprise me with this place.
Yeah, you are saying it's the right call to bench him over disciplinary reasons? Set an example to the team?

Have you ever played organized sports at any level? You don't give effort, there's consequences. Whether in the form of benching or running poles/suicides, it's the right thing for a coach to do. And most do it. It's not emotional, it's showing the team that it's not okay for ANYONE to slack off. What's it send to the team if you let your best player slack off but you demand 100% hustle from everyone else? He's pulled Deichmann, Papierski and now Beau for bad effort. Mainieri does a lot of dumb things; this was not one of them.

Come on Bain one more out
Posted on 5/7/16 at 9:20 pm to HoumaTigerFan
Where has Bain been all year? Throwing 93, he was good last year...what's the deal?

Fraley, Robertson, Romero due up to continue the rally in the bottom of the 6th
Posted on 5/7/16 at 9:21 pm to ULSU
Ben said he is coming off surgery in the off-season.
That can be a challenge both physically and mentally to get back to form from?
Good outing from Bain there

Think y'all read that wrong. He's calling out people who are defending Jordan.
Posted on 5/7/16 at 9:22 pm to Tigahs1977
I agree but I'm not convinced he gave a bad effort. He threw a ball to 3B instead of hitting the cutoff and it allowed a runner to get to 2nd. A lot of guys have done dumb things in this game.

Coaches HAVE to keep the hierarchy in place. I respect PM for that. He may make plenty of decisions that I don't agree with, but I won't fault him one bit here.

At least Ben Alsup threw strikes. These clowns can't do it consistently.
