Kentucky better not think they are good. Everyone is doing this to this staff.

Maybe it really is time to discuss the plan to kidnap Bedrosian and Gausman.

13 hits through 4 innings. Beautiful!

What did the staff see in our pitchers to recruit them? There and no arms and no stuff.

Texas has a staff of guys throwing in the low to mid-90s and they throw nasty junk. Our guys throw low-to-mid 80-mph fastballs.

When you start a guy hoping that he can get through their line up once, you don't have much to work with.

There are several guys on the staff who were throwing in the 90s before grewe became pitching coach Bradshaw and Ross come to mind. When every pitcher starts to suck you gotta look at the coach. There has to be some mechanics problem that he is not willing or unable to fix. Considering he has never been a pitching coach im going to guess that he is unable. That lies on Mainieri

does not mean that Ott has killed us. In our recent slide, he has not been the biggest problem.

Agreed, AR has obviously hurt us more. But Ott has been unexpected, b/c he was always a guy we could rely on no matter what, and that's not the case any more. I like both guys a lot, but it's obvious our pitching woes are hurt by the fact that our 2 best pitchers are not even mediocre right now.

Runner on 1st, 1 out...

High, 1-0...
Swing and a miss, runner steals 2nd...
Foul 1-2...
They're stealing because they play in a small ballpark where a 6-run lead isn't safe...
Foul, 1-2...
Groundout to Hanover, 2 outs, runner to 3rd...

I got slammed the last time I complained about a team stealing up by a ton...be careful. I agree though...clearly LSU doesn't have the drive to comeback (I hope I am wrong) so why steal up 6?

I don't understand how other great programs have consistently solid pitching. And, LSU, a monster program doesn't.
