Take away the 2009 season, and Maineri and his staff/players have not done frick.

Wonder who Maineri will blame this loss on?
How many runs did we score? Doesn't take a Rhodes scholar to figure out that answer.

3 SEC tourney titles in-a-row just don't measure up?

C'mon man. no one gives a shite about a gay tourney championship. oh..horray. bullshite. Maineri aint cutting it no more. They ain't going to Hoover this year anyway. SEC tourney..what a pos.

Who sez LSU fans aren't spoiled rotten and dilusional?

This stat was before the series started...
And we are something like 4-20 with runners in scoring position over the last two games. Pathetic

As bad as we are, we are still 4 and 1/2 out of first in the west. That means we def. still have a legitimate chance to make the SEC tourney.
I know if we keep playing like this we won't make it, but its not like we are even close to being mathematically eliminated.
Just saying.

It is just sad because we are used to seeing them win so much more. I just hope they will start playing like TIGERS now, so we can atleast play in Hoover, AL.

4.5 games can be made up in 2 weekends. The chips are down right now, but there's still time to gut this thing out. 2nd place in the West guarantees a spot in Hoover. I'm not too fond of that scenario but it is what it is. There's room for improvement on top of that.

we won't even need to be 2nd either. Kentucky is worse than us, and will not make it to the tourney in the east. Also if we make any kind of run we will pass up Tenn in the east. If that happens we only need 4th in the west.

That's pretty depressing after what we're used to, but a berth in the SEC and NCAA tourneys give us a clean slate. UConn basketball can tell you all you need to know after getting a nod.
