For anyone who watched the game on TV (I just got home from the game), did the crowd seem loud tonight?
When Ott got the third out in the 8th with that one and only pitch (with the bases loaded) it was so loud in the grandstand I couldn't hear what the guy sitting next to me was trying to tell me.

I was sitting in the right field bleachers and when the Miller guy from Bama dropped that pop fly, it was so hilarious the reaction of the fans around me.

1990 you had to have been in section 98 or 97. We were in 98 last ngiht, last row, seat 1 & 2. Guy to our right in Section 97 on the top row gave Miller shite all ngiht. My 17 yo was laughing his arse off ... "you'd strike out at Reggies" ... "hey Miller, why don't you come sit with us .. maybe you'd catch a ball" ... "hey Miller are you gonna hit the ball?" ... Poor dude ... he must have nightmares. FOr that matter, ANY left or right fielder ... we messed with the Leftfielder of TEXAS last year at the final game of the CWS .. he finally gave in and laughed and we all applauded!

I played against Miller in high school and I was ragging him because he used to stomp my school back in the day. Now here i was seeing the great payback. I heard that guy tonight and he was going on the whole night. It was hilarious but I did feel bad for him.

Well, I didn't mind the "Miller you chasing your 4 shadows?" or "Hey Miller is (insert 2nd baseman's name) wearing socks?" (ok I didnt' get that one) ... fine. But 1 guy yelling "MILLER" and the other three yelling "You suck" well, I'm a mom and I just think that there is no need for that.
Good clean fun is fine ... no need for ugly. Again my 17 yo was cracking up ... he asked me if that guy was drunk. I said "no, I just think it's an obnoxious thing"!
