I think Ranaudo has had enough time to bounce back from his injury. Right now, I think he is struggling with his confidence. There is a lot of pressure on him, and he hasn't gotten over that hump yet.

Hawthorne isn't saying much on what pitches are being thrown. But he missed many pitches up high out of the strike zone that inning.

with metal bats this isn't a big hole....this is as big of a test for the fans, to see if we have indeed become soft and spoiled like some say.

Is he leaving the ball up? How is the lack of confidence manifesting itself?
