Ott could have just stayed in..Maineri just took him out on poor performance..he was waving Ott to come out on his way to the mound. PM is hot right now.

But tonight is not Matty Ott's fault. Paul Mainieri should have never put him in tonight. Bertuccini had a 3 run cushion and he has been our best pitcher lately. What was he thinking?

I hate some of our fans! Stop throwing PM under the bus. The man won us a NC last season. This season sucks, but stop acting like it is all PM's fault. He's basically got absolutely nobody on his staff he can trust with the ball.

I don't like it and most on the board don't like watching it BUT, sometimes, a Coach will keep going to a player to FORCE them work out of a slump. I think that's what Maineri is doing w/Ott.
