It's tough to know because they aren't letting spectators in, they aren't publishing any reports, they aren't streaming the scrimmages, they aren't even tweeting our trackman data like they've done in the past.
It's a little ridiculous that a school like Siena, the pretty much no one has ever heard of and certainly doesn't know is a D1 school, can stream all of their scrimmages, with a commentator, and we get radio silence.
Or John A Logan JC in Illinois who streams their batting practice and scrimmages with real time trackman data on the screen at all times. And we get nothing.
Or any number of schools around the country with similar twitter accounts to our LSUBaseballData account tweeting out both hitter and pitcher trackman data after every practice. Wake Forest, K-State, Ole Miss, among them.
I can understand if we didn't get a scrimmage report or any scrimmage data if they didn't actually scrimmage last night. But we don't really even have any confirmation that they practiced at all.

If anyone can confirm dates/times of scrimmages, I'll do my best to get some first hand info to share with all.

This seems like something that should be publicized.

If you get a time, post it, please.

They really should let Scuba in. Scuba keeps the fan base engaged in the fall. This is just good for business and LSU baseball.

When I designed Alex Box I staged a series of sewers running into the visiting dugout.
Scuba’s well on his way now.

When I find out a start time, my intention is to drive out there and try to find a way in. I can't see why I shouldn't be allowed to sit in isolation, with mask on, and just observe the scrimmage.

Is it too early to say fire Mainieri?
Posted on 9/28/20 at 10:33 pm to The Boat
Never, he’ll be fired after we fire orgeron for this season

Hopefully they learn to hit this season because last season's little taste before the virus shut them down was terrible.

Well Project LSU must obviously be reading the site

Baseball Practice Closed to General Public This Fall
BATON ROUGE, La. – The 2021 LSU baseball squad will take the field for the first time on Wednesday afternoon as the Tigers begin their six-week fall practice period in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
Due to concerns about COVID-19 exposure, all practice sessions and scrimmages this fall will be closed to the general public.
"We traditionally welcome our fans to all of the fall workouts and scrimmages, but it's simply not possible this year," explained LSU coach Paul Mainieri. "We have an obligation to create a safe and secure environment for our student-athletes, and we appreciate our fans understanding the need for this policy."
Fall practice is scheduled to continue through November 10

All members of LSU Coaching Committee (and one guest) are invited to practices on 10/9 and 11/4.
Higher level members are also invited on 10/16 and 10/23.
If nothing else, maybe Scuba get in on those dates with a member.

They are trying to get their players seen, LSU doesn't have that problem

I get why they're doing it. Something similar from Wabash Valley is how we found one of our recent JUCO commits.
The point though is that if a JUCO with a fraction of the resources LSU has can do something like that, why can't LSU?
ETA: Nebraska has 38,000 views on a Facebook Live stream of one of their fall scrimmages. Even without the trackman data, it's something they should be doing.

Scuba,
I would wear a groundskeeper uniform and carry a rake, just in case.
