We all saw the shite storm of national media this offseason using BK for content to chew on and regurgitate to its mindless followers. The accent thing, the dancing thing, the memes; all fun and games. Now, to ride that wave into his coaching competency is completely illogical. The way national media outlets and in particular barstool are marginalizing our fanbase and our coach is laughable. The Coach O stuff was already borderline patronizing in 2019. I understand why LSU has established itself as a national brand... WINNING. The disrespect will subside once we do just that. In the meantime, it's just amusing to me that people are so obsessed with our coach and LSU fans as a whole. I mean it's kind of flattering. I guess there is no such thing as bad publicity but in a world where these recruits are so wrapped up in social media narratives, I hope they can sift through the bullshite and acknowledge why this man and LSU are proven winners. Never seen this much social media surrounding LSU in a dismissive tone.

We humiliated ourselves on opening weekend when we were the only thing on in all of sports. This is fixed by winning. Kelly makes $10M a year and should be able to handle (deserved) heat.

PMT loved LSU and Coach O, they make fun of everyone. They came down for a home game and the natty. They had nothing but great things to say about LSU. The sensitivity of this fanbase is embarrassing.
Side Note: Ed O's last interview about being fired should end the discussion about how outrageous it was that LSU fired him 2 years after a Natty.

LSU is losing. Thus, they aren't going to get a lot of "respect" from the national media and jokes will be made at LSU's expense (just like with other losing teams) until LSU starts winning again.

People have a fascination with LSU. It’s an interesting program with high entertainment value. They aren’t carrying on about anything TCU is doing are they? It means we matter in the college football scheme of things so I see it as a plus.
