This isnt a PGA Golf Tournament here...We dont golf clap when something good happens. After you start taking songs away from the band, piped music will become the reg and then youll be wondering where the tradition went or that song suggests drinking and we cant have that in TS! Sack up and get over it.

Let me just say this....I'm not against the students having fun w/ songs but try to be more creative than just adding curse words to the chants.
All of you defending this juvenille behavior aren't having to explain "What are they saying Daddy" to your 9 y/o.

While I understand why people may be annoyed with the students yelling that, its not like no one else in TS uses vulgar language. I was sitting on the east side and the language around me was horrible and there was a young girl sitting right in front of me. While I was walking to the bathroom at half time the two guys behind me were cussing up a storm at the top of their lungs. The old guy next to me was yelling "Kick their arse" instead of LSU.
You are never going to get away from the language. Unfortunately it is not the most PC environment to bring a kid to. Maybe CBS should not put a mic next to the student section or turn it off when the band plays Neck.

When there are over 92,000 people there, some are going to leave early, due to things that are more important--like family emergencies. But the stands were full at the end of the game. Those who left earlier were miniscule in number. Lighten up.

I don't have any kids...but try ear muffs...this is LSU not Notre Dame. Maybe we shouldn't say some of the things we do...but hell as a student and fan I'm more impressed that we can get 20+ thousand LSU fans on the same page. Life is like a box of chocolates so screw bama
