Yes it was, even after review.

Looked at the slo mo several times. Jones did not touch it. You either may not have the best vision or buying some BS that is being sold to you. People see what they want to see. Vast majority of third party observers of the game then and now agree with the LSU side of things btw.

Correct. Ritter made the call from waaaaaay behind the LOS and then ran up to the booth and reviewed it all himself

It has nothing to do with the total amount of penalties. It is the timeliness of them. Last year is a perfect example.

Last year's penalty was absolutely stupid on the part of Alexander. I can vividly remember sitting in the stands yelling "don't do it", but the LSU line (not just Alexander) kept on with the after the play bullshite. You could see the flag coming. Granted, there definitely could,( maybe should) have been a penalty on Bama or just a no call in that situation, but if you're Alexander (a 3 year starter at the time) you have got to be smart enough to keep your emotions in check at that huge point of the game.

Yeah I understand that. There was definitely provocation from the Bama side. They feel they can get away with it since they know the refs got their backs.

Does anyone know if this is true? I remember reading that him being a Bama alum was BS.

None so blind as those who will not see.

Listen, I dont believe that there's an officiating conspiracy against LSU football. I also dont believe in the Easter Bunny, or Rougarou, but I dont mind if you all do.

What exactly do you claim that image shows again? Julio's hand is nowhere near the ball at that point. Try again.

What is interesting is finding out who the key REC funders are and what boards they sit on. And the silent partners associated with financially backing Bama football and the companies and financial ventures they invest in. Atlanta is the International, Cosmopolitan city of the South. But Charlotte and Birmingham are the banking capitals in the South. Alabama is the Insurance capital of the South. Those affiliations have financial vines into the money that funds Alabama and Auburn athletics.

Yeah, he had already touched it with his right hand.

He was out of bounds

Dead all at that point

Not illegal touching as he did not return inbounds to touch the ball

Correct call - Incomplete pass

I've seen a lot of games officiated by Ritter and crew, LSU, but others as well, and it always seems to follow a certain narrative: have lot of penalties on one team, and critical no calls on the opponent in the first half, and in the second half some seemingly "make-up" calls that appear to try to even the first half's officiating.

And this makes me curious so I think I'll chart every Ritter and crew officiated game no matter who is playing with: penalties per half, breakdown of, apparent critical no calls, calls/no calls that shape the dynamics of a game and the point spread for each game for the rest of the season.

And to make it statistically correct sample same teams with the same criteria with other crews.

Then graph the stats, should be an interesting math project.

I don't think a crews incompetence is a conspiracy.

Nothing shows he touched it. If he did, his feet were still in bounds. You're either blind or just can't admit when you're wrong.

I agree. Take this as a positive if they're still laughing at you after the next couple weeks, that would mean LSU won.
