It was later revealed he had some huge link to Bama. Maybe wrote a book or something? I don't remember, honestly.
Either way, my aggravation with that game was more of the crap that MstrShake pointed out. JJ getting speared that game was terrible. The refs looking right at it and not seeing it is worse. That to me, is telling and a quick reminder of what you are watching.
