I’m watching the games. He can run, and he can throw a nice little 5 foot pass to Mason Taylor in the end zone. That might be good enough to beat Bama 1 or 2 times out of 10.

Yeah! They didn't pay attention to Howard's domination when he played SU. WH will definitely beat Bama next year. WH sill only get one shot tho, because then Collins will dominate Bama going forward. Except that he will only get one season because [insert Junior HS recruit TBD] is the GOAT and he guarantees victory over Bama!! I've seen the tapes!

I love how people act like Alabama is just done because they are still winning games and not blowing people out. There is 1A & 1B in college football right now, it's Alabama & UGA.

LSU still has plenty of work to do to get back to that echelon.

But Bro, he's watching the games not the stats. BK needs a QB that can throw TDs longer than 5 yards.

LSU wins. Beginning of the end for Saban/Bama's run. Beginning of LSU's ascension to be the next force to be reckoned with year in year out for a long time.

Leading your recruiting should never mention you beat that 1 team/coach.

It's coaches first year, and I think he is already exceeding expectations. We're in a groove right now. If we lose, it doesn't hurt a thing. If we win, sure all the better. As long as we play a complete game and play a good game, it looks good on coach.

I think we lose this one but if/when Walker Howard starts (hopefully next year) I think we’ll phase out Bama. Saban’s running out of steam and BK is just getting started here. Needs a QB who can do more than just run and throw 5 yard passes.

Terrible take

Bama is going to shut down the non-SEC QB LSU has.

This pretty much sums it up.

From an outsiders perspective...I would disagree.

In a rebuilding year, there are some games that are must wins, and then there are others that are nice surprises. Bama is neither. It's a game where he's not expected to win, nor should he be.

I’m not a moral victory type dude at all…. But fact is alamava has the better team

Our goal should be to play best we can obviously
Don’t get behind early like we have due to busted Coverages and TOs

Play hard like Texas and tenn and Am did against them
See where chips lie after 4 qrts

If we play hard like we did last year vs them and come up short I’m ok with it based on where they are as a program ans wherwe we are

The gap is closing
Should be great night in DV

Perchance Brian Kelly's LSU Tigahs defeat Bama this year, the citizens of Louisiana will hand him the State of Louisiana. Okay, I'm exaggerating. But dang sure, a surge in male and female babies named 'Brian.' Brian, eh?

It will wind up being the most important down the stretch.

Bama isn't exactly the BAMA of past, not a great away team this year, and the talent isn't as UBER as normal as A&M and UGA have pulled and split a lot of great talent that usually would have all wound up at Bama.

A win by LSU this season, would be HUGE IRT recruiting this year, but WAY MORE IMPORTANT that just that.

It would be the middle schoolers and high schoolers coming up that have never met Saban, it would be the HS coaches that may not have met him yet.

I would be the fact that CBK could walk into a home and say I beat him year 1, just wait and see what happens next.

And so it begins!

This WILL be the turning point in recruiting that LSU keeps Louisiana talent and probably starts to pull more Texas talent than Bama usually winds up with.

UGA has taken over the East and recruiting in Georgia and the east side.

Bama has only won due to talent disparity. That's changing.
