Had some highschool kids behind us leave at half time. Thought that was strange.

B. Hebert called out LSU fans for leaving early

Yeah well, the day I start giving a rat's arse about what that idoit has to say about LSU, I'll let you know. I was in the stadium, till the clock hit 00 & I didn't see any sort of a mass evacuation before the end of the game. Here's a question, was Hebert even at the game or is he still belly-aching about t-bob & him not starting? Hebert has NEVER been a Tiger fan & he needs to shut his drinking hole & quit talking LSU, he's paid to talk about the Saints.

G E A U X T I G E R S!!!

It's been two plus years, people that have paid for tickets know what they're in for right now. Yet they still pay their money and leave. Seems silly to me.

Unfounded optimism perhaps? I keep going and waiting for the light to come on for the offense only to be routinely disappointed.

They're obviously welcome to spend their money how they see fit, and leave whenever they feel it's time. But I don't get why you'd pay full price for admission, then leave after only seeing half of your entertainment.

You don't have to get it, it's not your money. Why are you concerned with the value others get with their money?

I agree, I'm all about calling punks out for leaving early but I didn't see it last night. It was thick getting out of there.

No, he's saying when he's not into the game, he doesn't go, so he doesn't leave early. Didn't seem that hard to understand.

This. First time since we got season tickets in the Hallman error that I've sold the entire season.

When I go, I stay for the duration (plus the 10 minutes or so it takes waiting to get out of our row in the upper S.EZ).
People can do what they want, but it's one more way that Tiger Stadium ain't what it used to be.

You're right frickhead. Don't know why I care, it's just not something I'd do. IMO a full stadium at the end of the game looks better than a half empty one.

i didn't leave because it was a close game but don't have a problem with anyone leaving for whatever reason that want.

i could at least understand his rationale if watching this team didn't give me the same feeling as trying to swim in quick sand but its up to LSU to keep peoples asses in the seats by putting a product on the field that people want to see.

But for the 6pm Vandy game it was the same thing

You do realize we played Vandy at Vandy, right?

As for the State game, I was there and totally surprised that it was still very full nearing the closing minutes of that one. I don't know why, but it was nice to see.

I agree that going and then leaving early when the game is in doubt is pretty stupid. And we tend to have decent # of those fans these days.

there was no mass exodus at the end of this game.

There wasn't a mass exodus but there was certainly a noticeable number of empty gold seats on the visitors side early in the fourth. And I suppose people have the right to leave when they want to but seeing people tout themselves as great fans then leaving early is really frustrating to me. To those i say leave when you want but realize you are a suck arse fan.

Exactly. It was shoulder-to-shoulder leaving the SEZ last night.

one of the announcers calling the game made a remark about it in the 4th quarter. said something along the lines there are only about 65,000 people left and the outcome of the game is still in doubt, not sure why everyone left.

so embarrassing, that's worse than the boos imo
